Job Description: Seeking a motivated, self-starting Software Engineer with strong experience in developing financial applications.  As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the development of the VestmarkONE Unified Wealth Management platform services.  These services span a wide range of financial services areas including portfolio accounting, performance measurement, and trade order management. 

Required Experience and Skills:

• 3+ years software development experience for enterprise class applications
• Strong Java/J2EE/EJB development experience
• Strong Object-Oriented Design skills
• Strong SQL Server/general database and SQL understanding
• Experience with MS Windows and Unix/Linux
• Extraordinary attention to detail and desire to work with financial data
• Excellent communication skills (written & oral)
• BS or MS in CS or equivalent
•  

Desired Skills:

• Experience with financial systems such as Accounting Systems, Portfolio Management Systems and/or Trading Systems is very desirable
• Experience with Financial systems development
• Experience with scripting languages
• Experience integrating with 3^rd party systems
• JBoss, Tomcat, Hibernate,  and/or Spring desired
• Experience with open source technologies
